Warehouses

SiteOps supports multiple warehouses — for example, a central warehouse, a site warehouse, or a temporary storage area. Stock balances for each item are tracked per warehouse, so you can instantly see where materials are and how much remains at each location.

Steps — Add a New Warehouse

1. Go to Master Data → Warehouses
2. Click + Add Warehouse
3. Fill in the details
   • Warehouse Name — e.g., “Central Warehouse – Head Office” or “Site Warehouse – Project A”
   • Address / Location (if applicable)
4. Click Save

Edit a Warehouse

1. Find the warehouse in the list
2. Click the ⋯ (More) button and select Edit
3. Update the required fields and click Save

How Warehouses Are Used Across Functions

Function	Warehouse Usage
Goods Receipt (GR)	Select the warehouse to receive stock into
Transfer	Select source and destination warehouses
Withdrawal / Adjustment	Select the warehouse to deduct from
Stock Take	Count one warehouse at a time

Tip

Name warehouses with a clear location reference — such as the project name or building — so that site teams can select the correct warehouse and reduce errors.
